Cyber Security Awareness Policy

1. Purpose

This Cyber Security Awareness Policy is issued by Chutkee Lifestyle Services Private Limited (“Chutkee”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

The purpose of this Policy is to:

  • Promote cybersecurity awareness across the Platform

  • Protect user data from unauthorized access or misuse

  • Prevent cyber fraud, phishing, identity theft, and digital abuse

  • Establish security responsibilities for Customers, Service Partners, and internal teams

Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility between Chutkee and all Platform users.


2. Scope & Applicability

This Policy applies to:

  • All Customers using the Chutkee Platform

  • All Service Partners delivering services

  • Employees, contractors, and third-party vendors

  • Any person accessing Chutkee systems, website, or mobile application

This Policy operates alongside the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Trust & Safety Policy.

Chutkee follows the following core cybersecurity principles:

  2. Secure Access & Authentication

  3. Minimal Data Sharing

  4. Continuous Monitoring

  5. Immediate Incident Response


4. User Account Security

4.1 Customer & Partner Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Keep login credentials confidential

  • Not share OTPs with anyone, including Chutkee staff

  • Use strong passwords

  • Log out from shared devices

  • Immediately report suspicious account activity

Chutkee will never ask for passwords, OTPs, or banking PINs.


5. Fraud Prevention & Phishing Protection

Users must be cautious of:

  • Fake calls claiming to be from Chutkee

  • Fraudulent payment links

  • Fake job offers or onboarding messages

  • Requests for off-platform payments

Official communication will only be sent via:

  • Official app notifications

  • Verified email IDs ending with @chutkee.com

  • Official support channels

Chutkee is not responsible for losses arising from off-platform payments or sharing of confidential credentials.


6. Payment Security

Chutkee uses secure, encrypted payment gateways.

Security measures include:

  • Encrypted transaction processing

  • Tokenized payment methods (where supported)

  • Limited access to financial data

Partners and Customers must not exchange bank details outside the Platform.


7. Data Protection Measures

Chutkee implements industry-standard security practices including:

  • SSL encryption

  • Firewall protection

  • Secure cloud infrastructure

  • Access control restrictions

  • Periodic vulnerability assessments

Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.


8. Device & App Security

Users are advised to:

  • Install the official Chutkee app only from authorized app stores

  • Regularly update mobile OS and applications

  • Use device-level security (PIN, biometric lock)

  • Avoid using public Wi-Fi for sensitive transactions

Chutkee is not responsible for compromised personal devices.


9. Reporting Cyber Incidents

Users must immediately report:

  • Unauthorized login attempts

  • Suspicious payment requests

  • Fake partner impersonation

  • Data misuse or privacy breaches

Reports can be made via:

All cybersecurity complaints are investigated promptly.


10. Incident Response & Investigation

Upon detection of a cybersecurity incident, Chutkee may:

  • Temporarily suspend affected accounts

  • Reset login credentials

  • Block fraudulent transactions

  • Conduct forensic analysis

  • Notify affected users (where required by law)

Chutkee reserves the right to escalate serious cybercrime matters to law enforcement authorities.


11. Partner-Specific Cyber Responsibilities

Service Partners must:

  • Not store customer data offline

  • Not capture screenshots of customer details

  • Not use personal contact data after booking completion

  • Not share customer details with third parties

Violation may result in permanent deactivation and legal action.


12. Internal Security Awareness

Chutkee may conduct:

  • Employee cybersecurity training

  • Periodic awareness campaigns

  • Phishing simulation exercises

  • Security audits and compliance reviews

Cybersecurity awareness is mandatory for internal staff and operational teams.


13. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

Chutkee complies with applicable Indian laws including:

  • Information Technology Act, 2000

  • Applicable data protection regulations

  • Cybercrime reporting requirements

Chutkee cooperates fully with cybercrime authorities when required.


14. Policy Updates

Chutkee reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.

Material changes will be communicated through the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
